What is still to do?

Technically the last big game feature we still have to implement is the MP part of the game. Well we had the PBEM++ system nicely running in some previous builds, so in theory it should run again ok, but it never does. 🙂

At the moment we are working on the MP save-replay ability, that is the last technical hurdle.

When MP is working we still have a lot of balancing, polishing and finishing touches to do, but be sure we are, from the technical side at least, very confident Gold and a final release date can and will be officially announced as soon as we have MP up and running.

I would like to stress again that this game uses our new C++ engine and AI. Technically it is completely new and has zero % to do with the older previous Commander engine, that was Java based, nor is this new engine related to the also great Panzer Corps engine.

It is a complete new flexible engine, with a very good AI, is 100% LUA scriptable (important for future modders), and easy to port to multiple platforms, so a heaven to build more games on in the future.

Hence the main reason why the game took so much longer to produce… I hope you will all enjoy your patience in the end and also feel the game is a solid cool and fun game once released.
